Rankings are based on absolute realized PnL, with clear eligibility rules and transparent payouts.
This document defines the full structure, scoring logic, payout mechanics, and eligibility conditions for the January–February 2026 competition cycle.
Core Parameters
Total Prize Pool
$100,000 paid in BNB
Competition Window
Start: January 21, 2026 — 00:00 UTC End: February 21, 2026 — 23:59 UTC Duration: 30 days
All trading activity must occur strictly within this window to be counted.
Monthly Trading Competition
Structure
Monthly competitions run on a fixed 30-day window. Each month is independent and scored separately. The same scoring logic and payout structure applies every month.
Scoring Methodology
Primary Ranking Metric
Absolute realized PnL. PnL is measured in USD terms. Unrealized PnL does not count.
Tie-Breaker
If two or more participants have identical realized PnL, the trader with the higher total traded volume ranks higher. If still tied, the earliest timestamp at which the final PnL was achieved may be used.
Scoring Window
Cumulative realized PnL across the full 30-day period. PnL resets to zero at the start of each monthly competition.

1st place: $40,000 2nd place: $35,000 3rd place: $15,000 4th–100th places: $20,000 split equally (approximately $208.33 per winner)
Qualification Requirements
Monthly Eligibility
To qualify for monthly payouts, a trader must:
Finish the competition with positive realized PnL
Satisfy the minimum trading volume requirement defined in the competition rules
Traders with zero or negative PnL at the end of the competition are not eligible for monthly prizes, regardless of ranking.
Daily Competitions
Daily winners remain fully eligible for monthly prizes. Winning a daily competition does not cap or reduce monthly winnings.

The Genius Team and the Genius Foundation reserve the right to modify prize structures, adjust scoring parameters, and enforce anti-abuse and anti-manipulation protections. Wash trading, self-trading, or artificial volume inflation may result in disqualification.
Payout Mechanics
Daily Payouts
Daily prizes are paid after each UTC day closes. Payouts are distributed in BNB.
Monthly Payouts
Monthly prizes are paid after February 21, 2026, once the UTC day closes. Final rankings are confirmed after all PnL and volume checks are complete. Monthly payouts are distributed in BNB.
Notes
All timestamps are in UTC. Prize amounts are fixed and independent of Genius Points . Participation in competitions is optional and separate from the Genius Points program but any volume contributed towards the competition will go towards your share of your weekly GP pool.
